Powerful forces

41 days and I can hardly stand on my own.I never would have thought that the human heart could be so dependent on something other than blood. But, just like that sticky red substance, full of nutrients and life, pumping through my veins, my connection with my lover has kept me alive. What makes this connection so powerful and so physical? What makes it so real? Is it the minds power over the body or is it something to do with love and its ability to transcend the the realm of physical possibilities? Was Einstien not correct with his theory of quantum entanglement? Can two objects, regardless of proximity,  not feel what the other feel? Will one not hurt when the other feels pain?
If this is the case then what is it that effects two people in such a way? Are we just pawns in a physics chess game of life? Or is love not just some word people say to one another but an actual,  real force that holds and binds the universe together?
For anyone who has ever loved another!
I thought I loved before. I even thought I lived.
I thought I cared until I found someone to give
My heart, my soul, and my body hurt,
Even when I watch Collin Firth.
Take her away and make me a slave,
It's the same as death, my heart I already gave.

Now that she's gone I'm finding it difficult to enjoy the things it once made me the happiest. It doesn't matter what it is: the changing seasons, a coffee shop, my favorite blended coffee drink, my favorite T.V. show or just a beautiful sunny day. The only word that comes to mind is numb. As much as I wamt to love these things again, I don't want to love them without her. She is like a drug to me, enhancing everything to the point that I cant help but to enjoy.

It's been only a week and while she still in my life she is not in my company. Exploring the world and sharing her life with others, my one and only is showing the world she really is. She is also showing myself that what the poets of said really are true, "distance makes the heart grow fonder". I may miss her but the love I have for her is only become more ingrained and Who I am.
